In this case, the Vieilles Vignes designation means the vines are minimum of 20 years. The cuvée or blend is from grapes that are sourced only in the Côte d’Or region of Burgundy. The grapes are from high quality vineyards which results in a more seductive Chardonnay…not fruity. The wine is rich and supple with a slight mineral finish. It is light in style with minimum use of oak.
