Antinori Guado al Tasso Scalabrone Rosato 2008

Kristin’s three good reasons to buy this wine:

1. Okay, so you are still not convinced that Rose’ can be dry and delicious. Are familiar with the following grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Syrah? Do they in any way say sweet wine to you? See, you two can enjoy Rose’! Picture this: It is hot in Rochester. You are thirsty. You really don’t like white wine…mmm…try this Rose’…you will be shocked at how much you love it.

2. I love this wine. I usually try to only order Rose’ wine that will be on the shelf for $15 or less. I could not resist this one. I had to order it so that I can enjoy a bottle or two myself.

3. Flavor Profile: Fruity aromas, with raspberry & strawberry notes that enhance the freshness. The wine is well balanced with a slighty spicy finish. It is complex not overly fruity but rich and lush. It is a pretty wine both to the eye and to your palate.
