It is a dark ruby red in color, full-bodied, rich and powerful. It offers aromas and flavors of blackberries, black cherries, spice and smoke. The palate is lush with soft tannins and beautiful balance. Ripe black cherry, tar, blackberry, and roasted meat aromas fill the nose. The wine finishes with a good balance that includes ripe fruit and hints of tobacco and a pleasant earthy component.
