The style of this California Zinfandel is plump, fruit forward, tart with some oak spice. The appearance is that of dark candy apple red with a slight haze. The aromas is loganberry, framboise, raisins, cola spice and caramelized oak. Medium-bodied and sweet tart on the front of the tongue, the richly layered mature fruit flavors combine with cola spice and the finish kicks out a modicum of caramelized oak. All in all it has been classified as "Decadent value!"
